So the syringe as part of the cover design, and specifically as part of the type was my idea. But not this poor unreadable execution. I can't even tell what the intent of the reverse R is, and it visually is in conflict with the syringe. The "tick marks" on the edge of the cover could have been an interesting element, and I think that's as far as the execution was thought through.
